Custom Non-Slip Socks

Custom grip socks are popular in hospitals and senior care facilities to minimize the risk of patient falls. They are made with a grip on the bottom that helps people move around slippery floors without losing their balance.

The results from the wet pendulum testing were very similar for the compression stocking and non slip sock samples, but some variation in performance could be expected based on foot anatomy and conditions of individual participants.
Socks with a non-slip tread

Socks with a non-slip tread are designed to improve foot grip on slippery surfaces. They are available in a variety of colors and styles, including toe socks. These socks are comfortable, durable, and can be worn with or without shoes. They are often used by people with swollen feet or ankles.

These socks are also known as non-skid socks, anti-slip socks, or hospital socks. They are seamless and have a thin tread pattern printed on the bottom. They are a standard-issue in many hospitals and long-term care facilities, but they are also popular for use at home.

Several studies have associated wearing footwear other than shoes or socks (as well as walking barefoot) with an increased risk of falls. However, it’s important to note that not all grippy socks are created equal. Some offer a lighter tread, while others have dual treads to provide additional foot support. In addition, some grippy socks are made of fabric that is softer than compression stockings, which may be an ideal option for individuals with sensitive feet.

Create branded socks that are both comfortable and stylish. Add your logo to the calf side, front, back, or foot sole. We use jacquard technology to knit your custom design with different color yarn directly on the sock. This process produces better results than printing or sublimation. You can also opt for a terry cushioning in the heel and toe for added comfort.

You can choose the size, style, and cuff of your customized socks. You can even add bottom grips that are 100% customized to your brand colors. They’re also very comfortable, thanks to their breathable cotton construction.

These no show socks are great for high-intensity activities like dancing and basketball, but they’re not ideal for walking long distances or wearing tight shoes. They’re also only one size fits all (adult 6 – 12), so if you have larger feet, these might not fit well.

The two brands of non-slip socks were tested for slip resistance in a clinical trial, conducted at the Princess Alexandra Hospital’s Physiotherapy Gait Laboratory. The test used a Wet Pendulum (Pendulum Friction) Test, which provides a continuous measure of slip resistance. Ethics approval was gained through the Princess Alexandra Hospital Human Research Ethics Committee. The socks were then tested in a blinded laboratory at the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation’s Materials, Surfaces and Finishes laboratory in Highett, Victoria.custom non-slip socks
