PVWatts is an online tool developed by NREL to estimate the energy production from potential photovoltaic systems at a specific location. You can search for properties by owner details, property attributes (square footage, number of bedrooms), school districts, property age restriction definitions, and a variety of other parameters.

The listing endpoints allow you to get all listings for a market or a singular property. Rooms within homes can become marketable before the entire home is available, if there is a known move out occurring in the future. These endpoints will return both full home pricing and individual room pricing based on the property_marketing_type value in the MLS feed.

This endpoint will return a list of properties, including their zgListingId which is the unique identifier for each property in our systems. You can use the zgListingId to tie these listings to your internal systems by mapping them.
Advanced Programming

You can use a JSON API to add your property listings to your custom website. Your programmer will create a special link that can be used to retrieve the data, process it, and display it in a manner consistent with your site’s design. This is beyond the scope of this article, but relies on your programming team’s skills.

To do this, create a mapping between RealEstatePlaceholderField and FeedAttributeID. Then for each of the feed attributes you want to use (listing ID, listing name, image URL, etc), create a FeedItemAttributeValue object. The key is the property’s name and the value is a schema that will be used to validate the property. You can also set the additionalProperties keyword to a schema that will be used to validate properties that aren’t matched by either the properties or patternProperties keywords. The default is to allow all properties. This is an advanced feature and should only be used by experienced programmers.
